TUMWATER, Wash. — Hoping to carve a local niche with small businesses, O Bee Credit Union has formed a new business-services department.

The $118 million credit union plans to offer business deposit accounts and commercial real estate loans among other offerings.

"This is an exciting and challenging time for businesses in Thurston County," said Brent Walz, member business loan officer. "Now, more than ever, businesses are realizing the advantages of working with a local organization that understands our unique market."
