BASKING RIDGE, N.J. — Affinity Federal Credit Union is rewarding its eco-conscious members for going "green" and reducing paper waste.

The credit union has recently launched its fee-free Green Rewards Checking, which provides such perks as a higher interest rate of up to 3.25%, unlimited check writing privileges, and free checks printed on recycled paper.

The only member requirement is to "go green" by enrolling in online bill pay, online statements and the Affinity OneCard debit/ATM card. The higher the overall balance, the higher the member's interest.
