INDIANAPOLIS — The $53 million Kemba Credit Union has been granted an expansion of their community charter by the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions.
The change opens the CU to membership from people who live or work in Johnson County; Shelby County; Hancock County; and Marion County, Indiana Townships of Center, Decatur, Franklin, Lawrence, Perry, Warren, Washington and Wayne, as well as employees of select businesses and their family members.
Kemba Credit Union was originally chartered in 1933 to serve employees of the Kroger Company. Throughout the last 74 years, Kemba Credit Union has grown to 8,200 members.
