ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Navy Federal Credit Union has teamed up withlocal ABC 7 and other area businesses and to help the Naval AcademyPrimary School get a much needed makeover.
|Over 170 Navy Federal staffers have volunteered to paint theentire interior of the historic schoolhouse, which was selected asthe first project for ABC 7's new program Built Upon A Dream.
|Based on the popular Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,Built Upon A Dream gives a facility makeover to local nonprofitorganizations that need it most.
|The Naval Academy Primary School project involves more than 20different makeover sites on the old schoolhouse. Everything fromlandscaping, to plumbing, painting, flooring, bathrooms andlighting will be improved.
