BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. — T&C Federal Credit Union will be protecting its e-mail communications with an encryption service from Zix Corporation.

The ZixCorp Email Encryption Service uses built-in lexicons to automatically detect and encrypt messages that contain personally identifiable information. The Dallas-based company's ZixDirectory now includes more than 7.5 million protected addresses, the company says.

ZixCorp's customer base includes federal and state banking regulators, including the NCUA and the Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Services, allowing seamless communication between $604 million T&C FCU and its regulators, the company says.
