ARLINGTON, Va. – Mary Martha Fortney, president/CEO of NASCUS, was elected to a two-year term as vice president of the Women in Housing and Finance Board, beginning June 20. Established in 1979, WHF is an association of women and men who actively promote women in the fields of financial services and housing through professional enrichment and leadership enhancements. Members include professionals and executives from the private and public sectors including corporations, financial institutions, regulatory agencies, government-sponsored enterprises, Congressional staff, associations, law firms and nonprofits.

Fortney has been actively involved with WHF for more than six years. She served on the board from June 2003-2005 and most recently served as treasurer for the WHF Foundation Board of Directors.
