Sandy Smith, president/CEO of Texas Federal Credit Union inDallas, will be honored by her board and staff for her 20thanniversary with the credit union at its 59th annual meeting onMarch 29. Lacamas Community Credit Union, Camas, Wash., will have ayearlong celebration in observance of its 70th anniversary ofservice to its members and community. Its first board meeting washeld in 1936 and LCCU became the first credit union in ClarkCounty. The celebration will begin on March 23 with a cateredevent, decadent desserts, door prizes, and a special historicaldisplay. Each guest will receive a gift bag with a 70th anniversarymug and pen and a 1936 silver half-dollar.
