HARRISBURG, Pa. – eCU Technologies' online deposit system, UPost, now interfaces with the Summit core processing system. The interface is currently being tested at $505 million Purdue Employees' Federal Credit Union. This is a groundbreaking announcement for eCU Technologies as previously it has only worked with Symitar clients. eCU Technologies is a CUSO of Pennsylvania State Employees CU, which itself is on the Symitar system. The CUSO did announce an enhancement with the Symitar System. UPost now works more closely with Symitar's Member Validation System to determine if a member is eligible for UPost and what parameters they qualify for. eCU Technologies also created new reporting capabilities to assist credit unions that are currently using the manual system where no API is available. "Our new reporting tool will allow eCU to customize reports based on client needs and can be modularized for pricing," said Douglas Bricker, project manager for eCU Technologies. Finally, the UPost Administration was upgraded to allow for adjustments of deposits rather than a complete reversal. For example, if a member keys the incorrect check amount into the front end (check written for $150 and member accidentally enters $105), the credit union will no longer have to reverse the entire transaction and then re-enter it manually, but can instead make the $45 adjustment.
