WASHINGTON-Though pundits had predicted that Treasury SecretaryJohn Snow, a supporter of the credit union tax exemption, would beasked to leave as President George W. Bush overhauls his economicteam, the president has asked him to stay. White House spokesmanScott McClellan reported that Snow had lunch at the White House onDec. 8 with members of the economic team and met with Bush, FOXNews reported. “The president is pleased Secretary Snow agreed tocontinue to serve,” FOX News quoted McClellan as saying. Snow isthe former CEO of CSX railroad company and holds a Ph.D. ineconomics.
