WASHINGTON-CUNA's 2004 Future Forum is slated with speakers to get the creative juices flowing and `just do it!' Juli Lynch, president of Turning Point Consulting will put on a "high-energy, interactive session" on the beach at a special `pre-opening' meeting. Attendees will also uncover the Naked Truth about leadership in a session with author, educator, lawyer, consultant, and coach Gary Heil. The forum will continue with presentations from Andy Stefanovich, CEO of PLAY, a company that uses creativity to develop solutions in the areas of brands, strategy, products, culture, and leadership; a political update from both sides of the aisle with two well-known political pundits; learning `The Power of Storytelling' with credit unions' own Patrick Adams, EVP of St. Louis Community CU; and the closing session will feature Kevin Carroll, Katalyst for Nike. Future Forum's Man on the Streets, Comedian Taylor Mason and his foam rubber friends will emcee the entire event. CUNA also just added four new education sessions on serving younger adults, increasing online services usage, managing interest rate risk, and a credit union benchmarker demonstration. CUNA's first `Future Forum' was last year in Reno and drew more than 1,000 people. Overall, CUNA has already surpassed that number for this year's forum in Honolulu still nearly two months out from the conference. More than 700 of those registered for this year are credit union representatives. Attendees are split nearly in half as far as professional credit union staff and volunteers. Additionally, more than 90% of the exhibit space is sold out with 100 different vendors.
