NEWPORT NEWS, Va.-The Virginia Peninsula Clean Business Forumhas presented 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union its Clean BusinessAward. The $360 million credit union is one of four businesseshonored this year. The Clean Business Award is given in recognitionof businesses that "improve the appearance of the businesscommunities through litter control, recycling and beautification."The credit union's Denbigh Branch was recognized for always beingwell maintained and neat in appearance. The remaining winnersincluded Addison Apartments in Hampton, Owens-Brockway GlassContainers in James City County and Days Inn of York County.
