Over the years Johnson's superior dedication toservice has been recognized by members and peers alike. MarchCommunity Credit Union, has celebrated its 50th Anniversary. Thecredit union has grown from just five members in 1953 to over34,000 members in 2003. In addition MCCU has over $340 million inassets. Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union, Md., hasreached $500 million in assets. This is a major milestone for the65-year-old financial institution that recently expanded itsmembership base to include anyone who lives or works in Harford orCecil County. Robins Federal Credit Union, Warner Robbins, Ga., hasrecently celebrated National Hispanic Heritage Month with a daylongevent. The Fort Valley branch was a virtual fiesta with Latinmusic, free refreshments, giveaways for the adults and children anda drawing for a gift basket.
