MONETT, Mo. – Jack Henry & Associates has made its third acquisition of a CU data processor. Jack Henry has announced plans to acquire CU Solutions, an in-house DP vendor primarily for smaller CUs. Based in Charlotte, N.C., CU Solutions has about 140 credit unions By all indications Jack Henry, parent company of Symitar Systems, is happy with the CU side of its business. It has said in earnings reports and other company announcements lately that it has been very pleased with the CU business (primarily from Symitar), and believes there is still more CU business out there for the company. Jack Henry first got involved with CUs when it acquired Peerless Systems. The company later brought that system under one roof with Symitar. Symitar, a long-time in-house only provider, now offers a service bureau solution.
