TORONTO, Ontario, Canada – Members of the Taiwanese Canadian Toronto Credit Union will have ATM service their way – in Chinese. TCU is the first financial institution to use the Dynamic Branding multilingual capabilities of the new AutoBranch Technologies, Inc. network, which delivers financial services on ATMs in the institution's language of choice. When TCU members insert their card into an ATM connected to the AutoBranch network, they will see all the screens and transactions in Chinese at any participating ATM, as though it was actually owned by the credit union. "This is an exciting opportunity for us to better serve our members," said TCU Chairman David Wong. "It makes it much easier to reach out to the large Taiwanese community in Toronto, and even beyond. We have finally found a way to build our brand and serve all of our members by providing convenient ATM access in Chinese. Building our own advanced ATM network to cover our whole market area would have been very slow, and much too expensive." TCU cardholders will have access to their new Chinese-language services on the AutoBranch network by the end of August.
