Just in time for the upcoming holidays, credit unions have been busy helping to ensure deserving families have homes.

Teaming up with Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County for its Women's Build project, Genisys Credit Union sponsored and volunteers worked hard to provide a home to a local couple looking to make a fresh start.

"They had a great time working together to provide a member of our community with a safe and livable home," Jackie Buchanan, president/CEO of the Auburn Hills, Mich-based credit union. "It's always rewarding to know that we've helped make a difference in someone's life."
