Credit Unions for Kids is looking for a few good grownups tojoin its national advisory panel – the Young Leaders for KidsBoard.
|CU4Kids is the brand under which credit unions raise funds forthe 170 members nationwide of the Children's Miracle NetworkHospitals. Its YL4Kids board was created in 2010 to provide anopportunity for credit union leaders 40 and under to help with theeffort.
|“The purpose of YL4Kids is to create, grow and inspire CreditUnions for Kids enthusiasts among the next generation of creditunion leaders,” Credit Union for Kids said in its announcement.
|“Over the past two and a half years, the Young Leaders forKids Board has been instrumental in the success of our CU4Kidsprogram nationwide,” said Joe Dearborn, senior director ofcorporate partnerships for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals inSalt Lake City.
|“The team's efforts helped us engage thousands of credit unionsand reach new fundraising heights in 2012. They are working on somenew, exciting fundraising ideas, and I look forward to seeing theirimpact in 2013,” Dearborn said.
|Applications for the Young Leaders for Kids Board are due byFeb. 1 and available online.
