The $202 million, 21,300-member CorePlus Federal Credit Unionhas recognized its latest summer crop of interns, placing theirnames on a recognition plaque at the credit union's Salem Turnpikeoffice in Norwich, Conn., and thanking them for their work.

More than 40 students from Norwich Free Academy haveparticipated in the diversity program since 2006, learningday-to-day operations including teller, support services and memberrepresentative duties.

They also complete online course work at CU Digital Universityand many of them have gone on to paid part-time or full-time jobsat the credit union.
