Jennifer F. Stringer, a former employee of the $31 millionUniversity of South Alabama Federal Credit Union in Mobile, Ala.will not be able to work in any federally insured financialinstitution after NCUA issued a prohibition order against suchemployment.

The agency took the step after Stringer was found guilty andsentenced to 10 years in prison for identity theft.

The prison sentence was suspended pending her good behavior, butshe was also sentenced to probation and ordered to repay over$43,000 in restitution.
