The $609 million Leominster Credit Union is looking to put the fun back in financial education efforts.

The Leominster, Mass., credit union has recently launched MoneyIsland, an interactive video game designed to teach kids ages 8 to 14 valuable financial life skills.

Developed to be a teaching tool for parents and teachers alike, MoneyIsland incorporates lesson plans, quizzes, games and contests into the learning experience.
