ATM manufacturer NCR has announced an ATM that does not need tobe sheltered from foul weather.

"The NCR SelfServ 28 makes it fast and easy for financialinstitutions and other businesses to extend their brand by offeringATM services in high traffic off-premise locations, such assporting events, concert venues and music festivals," the companysaid.

The new ATMs have both wired and wireless connectivity, and needonly a power outlet to operate. They do not require a structure toprotect them from the weather-making them more environmentallyfriendly by eliminating the carbon footprint of offsite buildings."The NCR SelfServ 28 is designed to be easily deployed andredeployed, allowing a financial institution to enhance itsbranding efforts with a minimal cost of ownership," the companyadded.
