Online Resources Corp. said it has launched the next generationof its online banking and bill pay services and that approximately200 clients already have signed up.
The new services follow two years and millions of dollars indevelopment, the company said, and includes a new navigationinterface, enhanced marketing and CRM tool and enhanced seamlesspayment services such as the ability to make last-minute paymentswith guaranteed same-day posting, the company said.
“We believe we have addressed three complex areas-usability,marketing and payments-that are crucial to a successful onlinechannel through an enhanced set of services that are sophisticatedyet simple to use,” said David P. Munger, vice president of BankingPayment Services at Online Resources in Chantilly, Va.
“In addition, by providing consumers with 'perfect knowledge' oftheir finances, such as providing exact information about when apayment goes out and exactly how it is being sent, we are helpingour clients deliver a highly consumer-friendly online service,” hesaid.
The improvements also include availability of bill presentment andimproved financial management tools based on the company's Money HQbudgeting, reporting and alert features.
