BALTIMORE — MECU of Baltimore has been named one of the mostgenerous corporate givers in Baltimore by The Baltimore BusinessJournal.
|Rankings were based on total giving as percentage of companyrevenue.
|With its 2007 giving representing 5.4% of its revenue, MECU ofBaltimore ranked fourth.
|“What made it possible for MECU to achieve this ranking was thegenerous spirit of the MECU employees,” said MECU President/CEOBert J. Hash Jr. “They contributed over 3,200 hours of time lastyear to many of the worthy nonprofit organizations in Baltimore. Itis the value of their contribution that made it possible for MECUto attain this standing.”
