The Fiserv business unit has certified its DataSafe system torun on the new HP line, powered by Intel's industry-standardItanium chip, while continuing to support credit unions running thesystem on the HP's AlphaServer line.

USERS says its testing shows most core system jobs, such asstatement runs, ACH and day-end processing, ran an average of 20%to 30% faster on the Integrity servers.

The first client of USERS to go live on the Integrity server is$68 million Mountain Credit Union of Waynesville, N.C., which hadbeen using an AlphaServer for more than six years.
