ROSEBURG, Ore. — Members recently brought more than 4,000 pounds of documents containing personal information for Cascade Community Credit Union's shred day.
|More than 75 members participated in the identity theft protection event. According to the credit union, some people were shredding 30 years worth of information.
|Cascade Community said it plans to provide free shredding at least once or twice a year from now on. A local company, Iron Mountain Shred, handled the massive shredding.
