SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The $180 million First New York Federal Credit Union has joined the Allpoint automated teller machine network, the network has announced. Joining Allpoint gives First New York members free access to 32,000 surcharge-free ATMs across the country, Allpoint said. Over 3,000 machines in New York are located in Target, Hess and Exxon Mobil stores. The credit union has a community charter which serves Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga, Rensselaer and Schoharie counties and has 27,000 members.
