ONTARIO, Calif. – CO-OP Network, the largest credit union-owned ATM network in the country has selected Samantha Smyth as vice president, marketing for the EFT network. Smyth will direct CO-OP Network's strategic marketing for all products and lines of business, including EFT, shared branching and risk management, according to CO-OP Network CEO Stan Hollen. "Samantha brings a unique blend of marketing expertise, industry experience and enthusiasm to our organization," said Hollen. "These qualities will be invaluable as she and the marketing department promote the network identity throughout the credit union industry via advertising, public relations and promotions." Smyth came to the CO-OP from the public relations firm which had helped CO-OP focus on trade and consumer advertising, brand building, public relations and national media buying. Smyth, had also previously worked overseas for an international public relations firm as well as serving in the media relations office of Los Angeles City Councilman Mike Hernandez. Additionally, according to Hollen, "Samantha was the driving force behind CO-OP Network's highly successful cooperative marketing program, which has played a major role in helping take our corporate message to a national audience. With all of this first-hand experience, we're thrilled Samantha will now be supplying all of her efforts to our organization."
