BOULDER CITY, Nev. – Navy Army FCU members and staffers can now get schooled on CU philosophy or anything else the CU chooses using the latest technology of the CU's new Credit Union Educational Site for Training and Technology (CUEST) Center. Opened on Oct. 8, CUEST utilizes multi-media technology to provide interactive education. Some of the education opportunities available include the following: Credit Union Philosophy, Teller School, Loan Officer Certification, Computer Basics, and others. Navy Army FCU President/CEO Wayne Vann said CUEST is a great tool for CUs with expanding fields of membership to educate consumers about CUs. "As credit unions expand their fields of membership, it will be more and more difficult to build the cooperative spirit within the industry. We believe in sharing and helping credit unions, as well as, reaching out within our community," he said.
