REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Yodlee, the dominant force in the aggregation space, and Experian, one of the big three credit reporting services, recently announced a new strategic partnership. Experian will offer its direct-to-consumer customers Yodlee's permission-based account management system at www.experian.com. At the same time, Yodlee will incorporate Experian's credit-management tools into its aggregation network. "Experian becomes the first credit-information provider to offer this powerful financial tool to consumers," said Alton Adams, president of database solutions for Experian. Yodlee users, including hundreds of thousands of credit union clients, meanwhile, will get the opportunity to use "seamless access to Experian's personal credit reports, credit scores, debt-management tools and extensive credit education," as well as account-activity messages that could alert consumers to possible fraud, the companies said in their joint announcement. Anil Anora, Yodlee president and CEO, said the arrangement "allows allows consumers to understand and manage their current financial lives, makes this a best-of-breed solution that allows consumers to most effectively control their financial future."
