With Labor Day less than a week ahead, Department of Labor Secretary Hilda S. Solis, described as "America's Job Counselor," will be hosting an online discussion of employment (and retirement) issues at 2 p.m. EDT on Thursday, Aug. 30.
|Solis will appear on Twitter, with a hope of fielding questions from future employees – high school students and college enrollees – to provide more clarity about entering the workforce, finding job training programs and identifying the best careers of the future.
|The chat is open to everyone, however, and people can join the conversation by using the Twitter hashtag #LaborDay2012 or by tweeing questions in advance to @HildaSolisDOL.
