More hiring is expected during the third quarter for commercial and light industrial jobs, according to a recent hiring trends survey by Express Employment Professionals, a privately held staffing company.

In fact, 37 percent of respondents intend to make new hires for commercial and light industrial jobs, which is up 5 percent from the second quarter.

"We have clients who are experiencing increased production, and the survey results are indicative of what we are seeing in the marketplace," says Robert Funk, CEO and chairman of the board for Express. "Employers are adding to their work force."
