  • More than 80 percent of workers expect to receive some retirement income from Social Security.
  • About 75 percent of workers are depending on an employer-sponsored plan for retirement savings.
  • Although 70 percent of workers expect retirement income from investments not sponsored by employers, only 56 percent report having made investments.
  • 58 percent of workers expect to get retirement income from a traditional pension plan, however, only 41 percent of workers report they or their spouse have such a plan.
