Judith Nilon, 68, of Philadelphia, an attorney, businesswoman and beloved mother, wife, sister and friend, died suddenly and unexpectedly on April 9 of heart failure at home, according to an obituary by the family.

Nilon was born and raised in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, with her five siblings by their parents Mary and Robert Nilon. A graduate of the School of the Holy Child, Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and Villanova Law School, she was a “brilliant legal mind, writer and entrepreneur,” according to the obituary.
