Opus 2 engaged Ari Kaplan Advisors to conduct a series of interviews with large law firm partners around the world to better understand how they are leveraging technology to drive innovation and transformation in their practices. As part of this initiative, I was fortunate to personally interview 34 partners in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States between July 8 2021 and September 14, 2021. While 71% of the respondents are based in the U.S., there are a range of perspectives that reflect the global nature of these trends.

Most of the participants focus on litigation (21%), intellectual property (21%), corporate transactions (18%), privacy and security (12%), or regulatory matters (12%). 10 are with firms that have more than 1,000 lawyers and 22 are with firms with more than 500.
