Edward J. McGarvey, 52, is now vice president and treasurer of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings (AAWW), the $1.6 billion Purchase, N.Y.-based air cargo service provider. McGarvey comes to AAWW from HSH Nordbank where he served as senior vice president, head of Aviation Americas and oversaw finance and business development for the bank's aviation finance unit. Prior to HSH Nordbank, McGarvey was a vice president in the capital markets group at GE Commercial Aviation Services.

Thomas Bartlett is now vice president and CFO of American Tower Corp., the $1.6 billion Boston, Mass.-based broadcast and wireless infrastructure company. Bartlett replaces Jean Bua, who had served as interim CFO and will assume the new position of executive vice president, finance and treasurer. Bartlett joins American Tower from Verizon Communications, where he served as senior vice president and controller since 2005.

John M. Stephens is now CFO of Standard Pacific Corp., the $1.5 billion, Irvine, Calif.-based homebuilder. Stephens replaces Andrew H. Parnes, who resigned in February in connection with the settlement of employment-related claims, according to the company. Stephens joined the Standard Pacific in 1996 as corporate controller, became vice president in 2002 and senior vice president in 2007.
