Americans may be feeling a little more confident about their ability to stay employed.
Researchers at Country Financial, Bloomington, Ill., have reported that finding in a summary of results from a July telephone survey of 1,900 U.S. adults who were employed when they were interviewed.
About 27% of the participants said they thought they were very or somewhat likely to lose their jobs in the next 90 days, down from 29% who said so when a similar Country survey was conducted in April.
