Health insurance and brokers will be using their persuasive skills on Capitol Hill July 14-15.
Groups sending members to Washington for a “fly-in” will include AHIA-NAIFA, the health insurance arm of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Falls Church, Va.; the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers, Washington; the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, Alexandria, Va.; the National Association of Health Underwriters, Arlington, Va.; and NAIFA.
Fly-in participants will lobby congressional representatives about the “role professional health insurance advisors, agents, brokers, consultants and employee benefit specialists play in providing health care to millions of Americans,” event organizers say.
