Compdata Surveys says it will be starting an insurance industry compensation survey program.

The new insurance comp survey series will offer information on pay and benefits for more than 100 job titles, according to Compdata, a unit of Dolan Technologies Corp., Olathe, Kan.

The firm will break out data by local geographic area, state, region, revenue, net written premiums and company size for each job.

The survey data will come with benchmark data for “all other industries.”

Compdata has been shifting toward industry-specific comp surveys, and away from cross-industry, state-specific results.

Some of the other new industry-specific comp survey series will cover industries such as banking and health care, Compdata says.
