Munich Re Changes Unit Name

A U.S. subsidiary of Munich Reinsurance Company has renamed itself.

The old American Re-Insurance Company, Princeton, N.J., has become Munich Reinsurance America Inc.

American Re’s holding company, formerly known as American Re Corp., is now Munich Re America Corp.

Munich Re, Munich, acquired Munich Re Amrerica in 1996.
