WellPoint Health Networks Inc., Thousand Oaks, Calif., will be marketing health savings account services from J.P Morgan Chase & Company Inc., New York, outside California as well as inside its home state.[@@]
The company announced earlier that its Blue Cross of California unit will be offering J.P. Morgan account-management services together with its HSA-compatible, high-deductible health insurance.
Now WellPoint says it will be selling J.P. Morgan account services together with high-deductible health coverage through its Blue Cross Blue Shield of Missouri unit and its national UniCare health insurance unit.
UniCare will be selling HSA programs that depend on J.P. Morgan account services to large employers through its own sales representatives and to individuals, families and small employers through local agents.
