PacifiCare Promotes Feeny To EVP

NU Online News Service, Mar. 8, 1:56 p.m. –PacifiCare Health Systems Inc., Santa Ana, Calif., has promoted Kathy Feeny to executive vice president in charge of Secure Horizons Senior Solutions, a new PacifiCare division that sells health insurance and financial services to older customers.

Feeny will be responsible for managing sales and marketing for all of the company’s senior businesses, including Medicare managed care plans, Medicare supplement insurance policies and Secure Horizons USA plans, PacifiCare says.

Before her promotion, Feeny was the senior vice president in charge of marketing the Medicare supplement program. She joined the company in 1993 as director of Medi-Cal sales.

Previously, she spent 18 years at Allergan Inc., Irvine, Calif., a specialty pharmaceutical company.

Feeny has a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology from Manhattanville College.
