Fire Equipment Supplier Expands

HOUSTON-This week, a supplier of fire protection equipment and related products boxes up for a move into 7,875 sf of office/warehouse space along the 610 Loop South.

Brooks Equipment Co., moving from 9189 Winkler Dr. about six miles northwest, signed a three-year lease, Aaron Ace Schlameus with the Houston office of Grubb & Ellis Co. tells GlobeSt.com. He says the move not only provides 3,000 sf more space, but has freeway visibility and easy access for delivery trucks. Brooks operates 20 locations nationwide.

The 110,037-sf, multi-tenant building at 5925 South Loop is owned by Realty Associates Fund VI LP. The Holt Cos. of Houston represented the building owner. The property’s quoted rent ranges from 38 cents per sf to 40 cents per sf, according to Schlameus.
