CBRE Chooses Mallory to Lead Hotel Practice

CHICAGO-CB Richard Ellis tapped Kevin Mallory to lead the firm’s hotel practice in the Americas. He will serve as senior managing director based in the city.With 20 years experience, Mallory comes to CBRE after positions in several companies in the industry, including Hyatt Development Corp., Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, Starwood Lodging and Westin Hotels. Mallory earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from Washington State University. “Our hotel practice in the Americas represents a strategic and vital element of our global platform,” Greg Vorwaller, president, Investment Properties, says in a statement. “Under Kevin’s guidance, and in conjunction with his international colleagues, I expect the group to continue to grow its leadership position in the industry.”CB Richard Ellis Hotels provides hospitality consulting and advisory services as well as valuation and financing for the acquisition and disposition of hotels, resorts, gaming, golf and leisure properties.
