NCO Leases 100,000 SF at Montgomery Park

BALTIMORE, MD-The 1.3 million-sf Montgomery Park Business Center, the redeveloped property of the former 75-year-old Montgomery Ward Catalog Building–gets its first private-sector tenant with NCO Group Inc.’s commitment to 100,000 sf of space. The Horsham, PA-based debt collection firm plans to use the offices for a new call center, which will allow it to consolidate its other locations in the region. While the terms of NCO’s deal with property developer Himmelrich Associates Inc. are not available, space in massive office park is being marketed through Colliers Pinkard for about $17.75 per-sf.

Himmelrich Jr. “Its easy access to I-95, BWI Airport, and downtown Baltimore, an abundance of free surface parking, and with the most complete collection of amenities and the highest quality infrastructure in the region make it an outstanding location for regional companies and expanding businesses. If it weren’t for Montgomery Park, NCO’s needs would be difficult to meet elsewhere in the City.”

Additional organizations that have committed to the park are the Maryland Department of the Environment, which has 260,000 sf, and the Maryland Lottery, which has 72,000 sf.
