Collateral Mortgage Hires Industry Pro

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL-The Birmingham, AL-based commercial mortgage banking firm is placing Karl D. Francetic in charge of its new St. Augustine, FL office, 100 miles north of Downtown Orlando.

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL-Scouting for a new market niche in Central and North Florida, Birmingham, AL-based Collateral Mortgage Capital has lured Karl D. Francetic from ARCS Commercial Mortgage Co. of Calabasis Hills, CA to head its new St. Augustine, FL office, 100 miles north of Downtown Orlando.

Francetic is expected to generate multifamily and commercial loan activity for the 100-year-old privately owned firm. He was vice president of ARCS Commercial Mortgage and ARCS’ No. 2 originator last year before shifting to Collateral where he is also a vice president.

Francetic is a former vice president and chief underwriter for Merrill Lynch Credit Corp.; former Eastern regional underwriting manager for Merrill Lynch Mortgage Capital Inc.; and former vice president, real estate finance, the Hyatt Financial Group. He is an established speaker in the commercial mortgage banking industry.
