Plastics Manufacturer Plans Arlington Expansion

ARLINGTON, TX-Metro Custom Plastics Inc. is in the expansion mode, signing a five-year, four-month lease to move into double the space just a couple blocks away in the Great Southwest Industrial Park. Move in is set for July 1.

The manufacturer is moving from 3407 Dalworth St. to 615 109th St., an estimated 60,000-sf building. Metro Custom Plastics is leasing 32,625 sf in the building. Metro Custom Plastics specializes in custom plastics injection molding.

Bill Vaughn, vice president of investments for Grubb & Ellis Co.’s Dallas team, and associate John Magee have brokered the deal. Ken Wood of the Ken Wood Co. in Dallas has represented the building owner.

Another Grubb & Ellis team has sealed a deal for a Taco Bell at 3321 N. Beltline Rd. in Dallas. C. Michael Pactor, Mike Friedman and Will Evans, all with Grubb & Ellis’ Dallas office, have acted on behalf of the tenant, Tricon Global Restaurants. Jan Rhea of International Capital has represented the property owner, Chimbel Partners, in the 32,205-sf retail site lease.
