ATLANTA-Developers continue to invest in industrial space in and near Atlanta’s airport, fueled by a need for space as the airport expansion displaces companies. Metro South Partners, a partnership of Fayetteville businessmen, plans to build two spec industrial buildings in Peachtree City, 35 miles south of Downtown. The site is 20 miles from Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport.

The $5.6 million project, Cross Town 74 Business Park will be built on Ga. Highway 74. the two buildings will total 115,400 sf. The first structure of 70,600 sf is expected to be completed early in 2001. Rental rates in the area range between $3.25 per sf and $6 per sf.
