Hanalei Hotel in Mission Valley Reopens as a Red Lion Inn

SAN DIEGO-Red Lion Hotels & Inns has opened its third converted hotel of 2000, reflagging the Hanalei Hotel in Mission Valley as the Red Lion Hanalei.

The 416-room Red Lion Hanalei Hotel becomes the 34th Red Lion property in the chain, a division of Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corp. A recent major renovation includes the introduction of new guest amenities and services and the addition of more than 16,000 sf of meeting space.

“Red Lion Hotels & Inns has its eye on continued growth in the western United States, and the introduction of yet another Red Lion property in the San Diego area will create even more momentum for the growth of our brand in California,” said Tom Murray, CEO of Red Lion Hotels & Inns and SVP of Hilton Hotels Corp.’s hotels division.

This newest Red Lion Hotel is owned and managed by MV Partners Inc. under a license agreement with Red Lion Hotels & Inns. MV Partners also operates the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley.
