Internet Firm Takes LAX-Area Space; Office Market in LAX-area on Rebound

LOS ANGELES-An Internet-related company has signed a $2-million lease for office space in the rebounding Los Angeles International Airport submarket.

The high-tech company, Interactive Search, agreed to take 34,235 sf of office space at the Airport Center II complex. The development is at 5959 W. Century Blvd., just a few blocks from LAX.

The office market surrounding the airport has been getting stronger over the past several months, brokers say, as more tenants seek less-expensive alternatives to leasing in more glamorous Westside areas. PM Realty Group represented the building’s owner, GE Capital/Jupiter Realty. The Los Angeles office of Julien J. Studley Inc. represented the tenant.
