PIC Group Buys 21 Acres for 100,000-SF Headquareters Site

The PIC Group of Marietta, Ga.is relocating its headquarters to Woodstock, Ga. where the technical personnel services firm plans to build a four-story, class A, 100,000-sf office building at an estimated construction cost of $12.5 million.<pPIC paid $2 million or $95,238 per acre ($2.19 psf) for the 21-acre tract in the 335-acre Ridgewalk mixed-use development, about 22 miles north of Atlanta in southern Cherokee County. The site is a few miles south of PIC's current offices.

PIC is one of the first technology companies to look beyond Atlanta’s developing corridors of high-tech firms. The firm, through its subsidiaries, provides technical personnel worldwide for the energy industry.

PIC leap-frogged office-space choices between Atlanta and the rapidly developing I-75/I-575 corridor in north-central Cobb County. PIC also has tentative plans for a second building of equal size should its aggressive growth call for the space. The first building is expected to be completed in three to five years.
