The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. has named Gary Y. Kusumipresident of the company's personal lines business. Kusumi will beresponsible for personal lines operations, including products,pricing, service, underwriting strategies, growth andprofitability. He replaces Jim Hyatt, who will be regionalpresident of strategic partnerships.
|Previously, Kusumi was president and chief executive officer ofGMAC Insurance's personal lines business. Prior to that, he servedas president and chief executive officer of the Windsor Group andpresident of Leader National Group personal lines companies ofGreat American Insurance Group. He is a past chairman of theInsurance Institute for Highway Safety and served on the safetyadvisory committee for the U.S. Secretary of Transportation.
